Lloyd Raymond “Rocky” Boyer, Jr. was born in Bonne Terre on June 29, 1955 a son to Edna (nee Schoellkopf) and Lloyd Raymond Boyer, Sr. He died at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson on April 25, 2020 at the age of 64. He is survived by four children: Lloyd R. “Boogie” (Melissa) Boyer, III, Crystal City, Nicky (Darren) Politte, De Soto, Todd Boyer, St. Louis, and Samantha (DeAndre’) Fisk, De Soto. eight grandchildren: Brittany, Autumn, Ethan, Riley, Marissa, Abigail, Taylor, and Darren; two great-grandchildren: Reese and Piper; a sister Donna Boyer, De Soto; and two brothers: Gary “Stretch” (Stacy) Boyer, De Soto and David Boyer, Orlando, FL. Rocky was a mechanical engineer having worked for Missouri Pacific and Union Pacific Railroads, A-B InBev, and most recently AECOM.
