Leetha Irene Myers was born in De Soto on February 13, 1947 a daughter to Helen (nee Oatman) and Raymond Gunnett, Sr. She died on January 4, 2021 at Mercy Hospital-Jefferson at the age of 73. She is survived by two sons: James Hasty, De Soto and John (Regina) Hasty, De Soto; three grandchildren: Joshua Hasty, Alicia Hasty, and Cynthia (Danny) Bowers; six great grandchildren: Alex, Stacy, Hunter, Pamela, Buck, and Nathan; a sister Judy Boxwell, Hematite; and two brothers: Ray (Michele) Gunnett, Jr., De Soto and Robert (Brenda) Gunnett, De Soto. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Nathan “Nate” Myers; a great granddaughter Isabella Grace; a sister Ruthie Gunnett; two brothers: Walter Gunnett and his wife Shirley and Albert Gunnett; and a brother in law Gary Boxwell.
