Joseph Edward Mazurek was born December 2, 1936 in Doniphan, MO. He was the son of Joseph A. and Lillian (nee Schultz) Mazurek. He died on July 31, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO at the age of 75 years 7 months 29 days. He is survived by his wife, Martha Ann (nee Brueggemann) Mazurek, De Soto, MO; his children, James “Jim” (Lori Anne) Mazurek, Overland Park, KS, Tom Mazurek, De Soto, and Mary Ann (Conrad) McMillin, O’Fallon, MO; sisters, Dolores (Richard) Ceglinski, Foley, MO, Leona (Larry) James, St. Peters, MO, Jean (Jim) Knirr, House Springs, MO, and Cathy (Larry) Collier, Warrenton, MO; 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Patricia L. “Patti” Mazurek, and one son, Joseph A. Mazurek.
