John Francis Mouser, 84, passed away peacefully at Delmar Gardens South on December 3, 2022. He was born on October 8, 1938 to Henry and Ethel (nee Stephens) Mouser in Marquand, MO. John married Vivian Geraldine (nee Griggs) Mouser on August 1, 1958, celebrating 58 years at the time of her death in 2017. He is survived by his children: Martha (Terry) Stephens, De Soto, MO and Marvin (Debbie) Mouser, Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren: Mark (Jessica) Stephens, De Soto, MO, Matthew (Danielle) Mouser, Columbus, GA, Susan (Daniel) Ferrell, Pevely, MO, Amanda (Stuart) Deming, Nashville, TN and Megan (Michael) Hurmiz, Huntingdon, TN; great grandchildren: Duke and Wes Mouser and soon the arrival of Baby Girl Ferrell and Baby Boy Mouser; brothers and sisters in law: Maggie Mouser, Marble Hill, MO, Delbert and Shirley Griggs, Potosi, MO and Rolla and Jeannie Griggs, Potosi, MO and several nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ethel Mouser; his wife Vivian Geraldine (nee Griggs) Mouser and siblings Margaret (Wilford) Combs, Mary Belle Bradshaw and George Mouser. John retired as an electrical inspector with McDonnell-Douglas (Boeing). He enjoyed his tractor and being outside. He made wonderful wooden toys in his workshop that are enjoyed by many people, young and old. In lieu of flowers, John selected two things closest to him for donations.
