Joan Mesey was born June 17, 1934 in Augusta, Arkansas, she died Oct. 24, 2010 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center at the age of 76.  She is survived by her children Gerald (Katie) Mesey, Gerald, Frank Mesey, St. Louis, Lorraine Megl, St. Louis, Rick (Donna) Mesey, De Soto, Mark Prichard, De Soto, and Mike (Devona) Mesey, De Soto; one brother Mike Harp. St. Louis; grandchildren Kelly, Kimberly, Jerry, Megan, Dalton, Darrick, Steven, and Shelly; great grand children Haley, Dallas, Cody, Karis, Makenzie, Maggie, Makayla, and Aleighia; and a daughter in law Debbie Mesey, De Soto.  She is preceded in death by one son Steven Mesey, her father Oscar Harp, her mother Charlotte Brock, her step mother Betty Olson, and step father Jessie Brock.  She was a retired printer for the Bemis Bag Company.
