Joan C. Eisenhauer Love, age 77, of De Soto died on September 25, 2020 at her home. She retired from AT&T and was a homemaker. She attended Pilgrim’s Rest Baptist Church for 32 years where she was a Sunday School teacher for 22 of those years. She loved volunteering at church, but also enjoyed sewing and making quilts for various charitable organizations. She enjoyed painting, cooking, and spending time with her family.
She was born on May 10, 1943, in Barnhart, MO. She was the daughter of Lester and Norma (nee Cage) Eisenhauer. She is survived by: her husband Elvet Love, of De Soto; two sons, David C. Cooper, of Festus and Samuel (Donna) Cooper, of Richwoods; two daughters, Lisa (Ken) Welker, of Hillsboro and Julie (Denny) Bergstrom, of Leavenworth, KS; two sisters, Lois (Kenny) Prockl of Clinton, AR and Lola (Dennis) Griggs, of Potosi; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a sister in law Joyce Eisenhauer and a brother in law Russell “Rusty” (Cindy) Love, Jr., Oklahoma City, OK.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her brother Jerry Eisenhauer; her sister Irma (Ron) White and step father Vester “Pee Wee” Wilson.
