Dear Robin, Denise and James: Donna and I were very sorry to hear the news of your dad's passing from Uncle Doug. Although it has been many years since we have seen Uncle "Buddy" and you three, please know that our thoughts will be with each of you and your families during this difficult time. I will always have fond memories of your dad. When I was growing up in Sikeston and later in Cape Girardeau, I recall him being a nice and gentle man. I know my mom Vivian loved him dearly, as she did all her brothers and sisters. She always called him "Buddy" so naturally he was always Uncle Buddy to me. I also remember that he was a very hard worker, loved his children and was always very proud of them. I know it is never easy to lose a parent, but I am certain you three and your families will have many great memories to share because of Uncle Buddy's life. It is hard to believe that Mom passed more than 18 years ago,and that only Uncle Doug, Aunt Carol and Aunt Ruth Ann remain of the original family. As I am sure you know from Uncle Doug and Aunt Betty, Donna and I have lived in Leawood, Kansas the last 5 years. I retired from the U.S. Attorneys Office in 2010 and we moved here to be with our son, Michael, Jr., his wife Michelle, grandsons John and Drew as well as our son Tim, his wife Laurie, granddaughter Grace and grandson James. We are sorry that we were unable to make arrangements to be there, but hope these memories I have shared will be a blessing to you all. With love, Mike and Donna Price
