James Andrew Perry was born on April 28, 1939 in Wayne County, West Virginia. He was the son of Clyde Montgomery Perry and Mary (nee Marcum) Perry-Atkinson. He died on February 21, 2017 at his home in De Soto, MO at the age of 77.
He is survived by his wife Glenda (nee Thornhill) Perry of De Soto, MO; his sons, Scott Cummins, Apache Junction, AZ; Andrew James Perry, De Soto, MO; Aaron Keith (Sarah) Perry of De Soto, MO; and Adam Montgomery Perry of St. Louis, MO; 14 grandchildren; and one sister, Virginia K. Lockwood, of Ruther Glen, VA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his step-father, Walter Atkinson.
James served in the United States Air Force and was a rural carrier and shop steward for the United States Postal Service.
Bro. Wayne Gibson will officiate the services.
