I am so very sorry for your loss. I hope you are finding comfort in the support of many friends and family. Something that soothes my heart is the beautiful thoughts found in the Bible at Jeremiah 29:11,12. These verses assure us that God's thoughts toward us are of peace and hope. One way that God offers us hope is his beautiful promise that we will see our loved ones again by means of the resurrection (John 5:28,29). Jesus gave us a comforting preview of the joy that these occasions will bring when he resurrected individuals in the 1st century (John chapter 11). I hope these thoughts soothe your hearts as well.
