Geraldine M. “Jackie” Bishop was born June 7, 1922 in De Soto, MO. She was the daughter of Richard A. and Lena A. (nee Fickert) Wood. She died on May 30, 2014 at Hillcrest Care Center in De Soto, MO at the age of 91 years. She is survived by her daughter, Regina (Earl) Casey, Bloomsdale, MO; two sons, Richard A. “Rick” (Terry) Ponzar, Festus, MO; George A.(Cheryl) Ponzar, III; Cadet, MO; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; three husbands, George A. Ponzar, Jr., Lysle Filkins, and Harold Bishop.
