Herbert Norval Reynolds was born in De Soto on January 29, 1933 a son to John A. and Jessie L. (nee Cole) Reynolds. He died at his De Soto home on January 31, 2015 at the age of 82. He is survived by his son: John Andrew (Shelly) Reynolds, De Soto; a daughter: Jeanie Diane (Joshua) Arentz, Ridge Crest, CA; one brother: Floyd “Toby” Reynolds, De Soto, one sister: Glenda Perry; he also was a grandfather and great-grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty Jean (nee Hayes) Reynolds; one brother: James W. Reynolds; one sister: Vivian Lorene Ames; one half brother: Paul R. Secrets; and one half sister: Marie Agers. He served in the Navy and Air Force during both the Korean War and the Vietnam War and then worked as a Civil Servant in California before retiring and moving back to De Soto and working for De Soto Fuel. Brother Bob Thebeau will officiate the graveside service.
