Helen Irene Coleman was born on February 11, 1929 in Jefferson County, MO. She was the daughter of Joseph O. & Cleta (nee Martin) Kimbrel. She died on March 27, 2022 at her home in De Soto at the age of 93.
Helen is survived by her children, Rolla Paul (Bobette) Coleman – De Soto; Michael Coleman – De Soto, MO; and Robert Coleman – De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Michael Coleman, Jr., Charlie (Trish) Coleman, Paul Coleman, Mark Coleman, Eric Coleman, and Steve (Jamie) Coleman; 9 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Homer Coleman, her daughter, Connie Coleman; and siblings, Charles Kimbrel, Edward Kimbrel, Jody Kimbrel, Rose Kimbrel and JoAnn Bequette.
Helen worked as a cook at the Castle Acres Nursing Home.
