Hazel Marie Spruell was born January 24, 1945 in De Soto, MO a daughter to John Lucas and Martha ( Hedrick) Lucas Lacey. She died Feb. 26, 2009 at her home in De Soto at the age of 64. She is survived by her husband Carl F. “Apple” Spruell; children Timothy (Kathy) Spruell, Jim (Patty) Spruell, Paul Spruell, Tony (Lisa Christian) Spruell, and Debbie (Dale) Christian; siblings Elaine Winkler, Angie Todaro, John Lucas, Elsie Bequette, Randy Lucas, David Lucas, and Bill Lucas; 18 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Rebecca Lockwood; siblings Gilbert Lucas Sr., Betty Vorhees, Violet Gordon, Linda Lucas, Ron Lucas, and Joseph Lucas
