Our Christian love to you and your family Wesley in your mom's passing. She was a sweet lady with the kindest of hearts. She always had a smile and good word to say. Always great hospitality and kindness in the many visits when we were kids. Truly a great Christian lady.

Cousin Hazel was always ready to help everyone she knew. For years she watched over our property when nobody lived here, and would even well into her 70s she'd go out into the woods and fields to retrieve our wayward dogs when we were gone! As Hazel was my dad's 1st cousin, my memories of her go back my entire life. In 2010 my son & I paid her a visit, and of course she and her helper made us stay for a wonderful lunch out on her patio. These are just a snapshot of a life lived in true selflessness. She lived for others and set the example for us all! - Ray Bergman

James and I send our condolences to Wes and family on the loss of their mother. I was fortune to have met Hazel and Wayne as a child, and to have enjoyed their lives through their daughter and my cherished sister-in-law Phyllis. They are all together now in a place where only happiness exists.

Wes and family, I have such fond memories of your mom and dad. I loved going to stay with Hazel and playing upstairs with all the farm toys. I'll never forget the hayrides, the bonfires, Pegasus and JR. So many good memories, and always knowing we had the best neighbors. The more recent years when your mom and my mom were so close mean so much as well. Love you all, and praying for your comfort and strength.

Wes and family , I just now saw this and had to let you know your Mom knew about everyone and about everyone knew your Mom as just as sweet & kind as one could be , along with your Dad. You had a very nice place to grow up and family to be with. All her friends and neighbors will for sure remember and never forget her. Pam.

Wes and Mary, So sorry to hear about your Mom. As I sit here looking at her picture and the pictures of the farm, so many happy memories are coming to the surface. I am trying not to cry, but your Mom was one of the dearest people we knew. One of the first times you and Bill ever played together, your Mom invited me to a party she was having. I think it must have been a tupperware party. This was before you started school. You and your family are in our prayers, but I know and you know Hazel is in God's arms now. Love, Nancy and Dave

Wes: So sorry to hear about the death of your mother. I am even more sorry that I won't be able to attend the visitation or the service for her and to be with you. I hope that the celebration of her life will be filled with peace and comfort for you and Mary and the girls. Mom has kept me up to date on her condition through the past years. May God's blessings be upon you at this time. Our faith is in a loving God who receives into his arms those who serve him. May your mom's strength be renewed and may she run and not be weary. May she walk and not faint now that she is in the presence of our Lord. Rob Martin. (robmartin401@bellsouth.net) C: 731-707-3511

Wes and Mary--Your mother and I became friends in high school==a friendship that continued for many years-- at St Andrews. I remember your mother and dad coming into church, going down that side aisle about two thirds of the way, with you and Phyllis with.them. Know that your mother is resting in the arms of a loving God, whom she served all the years of her life Incidentally, they sent me good kids who made my job more beautiful and fulfilled. Much love to all of you
