Harold Roswell Hamel was born on November 4, 1925 in De Soto, Missouri. He was the son of Clarence Lee & Anna P. (nee Kopp) Hamel. He died on July 21, 2009 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Crystal City, Missouri at the age of 83.
He is survived by his wife, Delores (nee McAnally) Hamel of De Soto, MO. Harold and Delores were married on June 24, 1952 in De Soto, MO. He is also survived by two children, Terry (Carol) Hamel of High Ridge, MO & Donna (Kenny) Bahr of Festus, MO; one brother, Ralph Hamel of De Soto, MO; 5 Grandchildren, Cody & Carley Bahr, Nathan, Cara, & Libby Hamel.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
