William G. “Glen” Edelen was born in St. Louis on April 17, 1947 a son to William B. and Florence B. (nee Simon) Edelen. He died at the Villa’s in De Soto on May 6, 2016 at the age of 69. He is survived by two sisters: Mary Geraldine (Edward) Zdvorak, Santee, CA and Marilyn Ann Shelley, De Soto, several nieces and nephews and their families; and a dear friend Sherry Gillam Miller. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Marcella Edelen. He had worked as an accountant for Jefferson Memorial Hospital and enjoyed reading. Fr. Alexander Anderson will officiate the funeral service.
