I did not know that Jerry had passed away until this late date. I made my first trip to Nashville with Jerry and his first wife Gloria and my parents, Marvin and Elsie Jinkerson, when I was 11 years old in November of 1967. I wil never forget it. He was a great musician and a funny guy. I was fortunate to get to listen to him and his band several times when I was a kid. I loved it when he played "Mooin River" on the piano, all by ear!

I love you so much daddy! We are all going too miss you so much! I'm trying not to be selfish because I know you are with grandma, grandpa and your brothers...and even your sister! I know you will always be watching over all of us! I know everything happens for a reason, I just wish I could have talked to you one more time, kissed you, hugged you, and even laughed at you' re 'bad dad jokes'! Know that I will always be thinking of you and I will always love you! I hope to see you in my dreams! You were like a best friend and I love you so much! I will miss you greatly and I know that we will be together again someday! So until then, I Love You and save me a seat!

Jerry was always a nice pleasant fellow whom I had the pleasure to work with. He was the Head Operator on my shift for many years. I missed him when he retired and I will miss him equally upon his passing. My sincere condolences go out to the family members.
