George and I go back to kindergarten in De Soto. He will always be one of the individuals who is a part of school, home, town, people and community. He was a special person. Juanita, I'm so sad for you, and I hope good memories will help you at such a sad time. I will miss George (Pete), but the good memories will always be special. Roseann (Fisher) Sanders

I remember George very well, and he was a well-thought-of member of our DeSoto Community. He and I went to school and church together. He loved his hometown and he loved his country! Juanita, we are thinking and praying for you.

What a kind and gentle friend. Remember him just recently as our DHS Interact students painted the wood fence next to Barney's on Main Street. We visited then and caught up on the past just as Juanita got out of the hospital.
