Gene E. Ogle, Sr. was born July 13, 1932 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of John and Sadie (nee Liverall) Ogle. He died on May 26, 2015 at his residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his wife, Lela M. (nee Coon) Ogle, De Soto, MO; one son, Gene (Carleen) Ogle, Jr., De Soto, MO; two daughters, Gail McClain, St. Louis, MO; and Loretta (Kevin) Miller, Marion, IL; five grandchildren, Cody Clayton, Brandon Clayton, Sheila Ryan, Annette Conning, and Kevin J. Miller; four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; one son, Rodney Ogle; siblings, Frank Ogle, Lorine Christ, and Leona Bishop. Gene served in the U.S. Army and was an electrician for McDonnell Douglas.
