Gene Berry was born on November 21, 1960 in Crystal City, MO.  He was the son of Lawrence and Roberta Grace (nee Miller) Berry.  He died on April 30, 2019 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO at the age of 58.

On April 25, 1992 Gene married Teresa (nee McNicholas) Berry, she survives in De Soto, MO, also survived by their children, William (Michelle) McNicholas of Hillsboro, MO; Samuel (Courtney) Weber of De Soto, MO; Jessica (Colton) Fortner, De Soto, MO and Zeke (Kristen) Berry of De Soto, MO; grandchildren:  Luke, Sam, Ellie, Paisley, Olivia and soon-to-be born Kimber;  five sisters, Brenda (Richard “Dick”) King of Hillsboro, MO; Alpha (Ed) Graham of De Soto, MO; Elizabeth “Ann” James of Wylie, TX; Barbara (Rev. Jeff) Flowers of Healdton, OK;  and Jane (Rodney) Garrett of De Soto, MO; and two brothers, Lawrence “Buddy” (Bonnie) Berry of Licking, MO; and Bobby (Cheryl) Berry of Cadet, MO.

Gene was a mill operator for J.W. Aluminum and a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church.

As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or to the First Free Will Baptist Church.
