Gary L. Sanders passed away at his home on April 15, 2015, in Overland Park, KS. He was 71 years old.
Gary was born on September 17, 1943, in St. Louis, MO, to his parents, Theodore and Vivian Sanders (nee Jett). He attended Flat River Junior College and Jefferson College and served in the United States Army. He married Roseann Sanders (nee Fisher) in 1964. Gary retired from telecommunications management and lived in the Overland Park, KS, area since 1987.
Gary is survived by his wife of 50 years Roseann; his mother, Vivian Matlock; his children: Scott and Tina Sanders; Doug and Katie Schweigert; Joe and Kristie Sanders; Jacob and Amanda Shafton; seven grandchildren; and his brother Randy Sanders. He was preceded in death by his father Theodore and sister Nancy.
