Mr. Slade was my English teacher my Freshman year at MHS. I’ll never forget him introducing myself and the class to Simon and Garfunkel while teaching us the mechanics of poetry. I became a lifelong fan of S&G as well as Mr. Slade. R.I.P. Till we meet again.
