Francis Ray “Frank” Dierks was born in De Soto on October 2, 1955 a son to Raymond and Loretta (nee Valle) Dierks.  He died on March 23, 2022 at Mercy Hospital South at the age of 66.  He is survived by his wife of 42 years Patricia “Patty” (nee Spiker) Dierks, De Soto; one daughter Loretta Lynn (Bryan Douglas) Dierks, Ferguson; three grandchildren: Brett (Skylar) Gibbs, Baileigh Gibbs and Grace Gibbs, all of De Soto; one sister Kathy (Steve) Bequette, Cadet; one brother Robert Dierks, De Soto; a sister in law Sherry Dierks, De Soto; two brothers in law: John (Tonya) Spiker, De Soto and Don Spiker, De Soto; and a son in law Brad (Jessica) Gibbs.  He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters: Loraine Christian, Connie (Robert) Christian, Deborah Dierks and Marsha Dierks and one brother Timothy Dierks.  Frank worked at Arnold Ready Mix until his retirement in 2021. He worked part time after that cutting grass and hauling scrap metal.  He served in the United States Army from 1975 until 1984 and the Missouri National Guard from 1984 to 1989.  He was a member of First Baptist Church-De Soto.  Frank was a hard worker and would do anything for anybody.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church, 2000 Grace Way, De Soto, MO  63020.
