Elma was beautiful inside and outside. She became good friends with my dad. She helped make his last years so happy. I will never forget when they would leave to go dancing and the happiness that radiated from them both just being together. I worried about them just like they were teenagers.

Elma, you will be missed and I have to say I am so blessed to have known you. You were always the smile that I saw when our eyes met, such an inspiration to so many. Thank you for being my friend, peace be with you and your family as they will miss you so much. Debbie, if I can ever be a shoulder for you to lean on, it would be my pleasure . God bless you all, my prayers are with you. Elma, I hope you are playing beach volleyball in heaven as you did at the Villas! You will be in my heart always.

Aunt Elma was a beautiful person. I remember every Christmas as a child, she made a point of being at grandma and grandpa's house to see my sisters and me. She always had something for the three of us, and I always thought that was so sweet. I knew she had tons of family to buy for at Christmas, but she always had to have something for her great nieces. It was that tender hearted and generous spirit that she displayed that made me admire her so much. More than once I have thought to myself, "What a legacy of love Aunt Elma has left on this family." I will miss her and think of her often. Much love to all of you during this hard time. Love, Leah, David and Emma Poe
