Our deepest sympathy for the whole family. Eldon did his all in the good fight of faith. During his time of sickness he was always witness about the Lord and telling others of the goodness of God. He overcame cancer 3 times and this last time he did what the Lord wanted him to do and called him home. He was not afraid to die because he knew he would be in heaven with Jesus welcoming him home. He always was ready to laugh and have good time joking around. We had many a good time at church that we will never forget. He was always ready to help anyone because he had the love of Christ in his heart. Now, my friend has his perfect healing and I can see him dancing and praising the Lord with all his heart. Everything that was said in the poem is because he knew who was his Savior, Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Only by the Love of Christ in his heart was he able to fight the good fight of faith with joy. He will be missed, but soon one day we will get to see him again. I will be ready to joke and cut up and praise the Lord with him. Love you Sandy, see you tomorrow.

Sandy, you have my deepest sympathy. Also, Jean sends her love and condolences. We both will be praying for you and your family. Jean has been trying about 6 months to contact you but couldn't find a telephone number for you. Jean said when things calm down and things are better for you to call her @573-431-1935. Love you, Annetta

Aunt Sandy, Carl, Dennis, and Aaron - Please accept my deepest and heartfelt condolences. Uncle Eldon was a great and kind man. I use to love to come stay the week with you in the summer. He was always so good to us and I couldn't have wished for a better or more honest devoted Christian for an Uncle. Uncle Eldon always seemed to me to be the prefect blend of pride, stength and humility. We are the poorer without him and heaven is richer to have him. Please accept my love and prayers. Mike Jones

Sandy, Dennis, Aaron, and Carl,
Sending our sincere condolences and heart felt sympathy during this time of sorrow. Eldon was one of the most loving and sincere people I have ever known. Rest assure he is resting in our Heavenly Fathers comforting arms. No doubt he has been told " Well done, good and faithful servant." Even though he will be missed, he continues to live on through the hearts and memories of all who knew him. Rest in peace " Big Brother" .
Love always,
Beth Ann "Sis" and John Purvis
