Edith Irene “Mitzi” Byers was born April 7, 1943 in St. Louis, MO. She was the daughter of the late Louis and Daisy (Eaton) Arndt. She died on April 8, 2014 at St. Anthony’s Medical Center in St. Louis, MO at the age of 71 years. She is survived by her husband, Byron Grant Byers, De Soto, MO; three sons; Jeff (Missy) Byers, Potosi, MO; Scott (Nicole) Byers, St. Petersburg, FL; and Dennis (Evie) Byers, De Soto, MO; one sister, Sandra “Sandy” (John Maness) Paul, De Soto, MO; two grandsons; seven granddaughters; and nine great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rosie Arndt, Ellen Arndt, Arlene Arndt and Rose Byers; brothers-in-law, Earl Byers and Don Byers; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by five siblings, Leroy Arndt, Muriel Rupkey, Allen “Budz” Arndt, Mary Jo Arndt, and Louis “Duck” Arndt; one step-brother Bob Arndt, sisters-in-law, Bertha Arndt, Ruby Byers, Thelma Byers, Sybil Byers, Glenna Isgrig, Kay Anderson, and Judy Cooper; and brothers-in-law, Everett “Rip” Rupkey, Archie Byers, and Roger Byers.
