My Uncle Ed took me and my grandmother (his mother) Rhoda to Saint Louis for a whole week when I was nine years old. We had a great time. We went to the Zoo, the Arch, Botanical Gardens and the State Fair at Sedalia. I will always remember the lovely lunches that he and I had. He would come by my office, pick me up and we would go to whatever restaurant suited our fancy that day. He ALWAYS insisted on paying.
