Emma Jane Davis was born July 2, 1930 in Palestine, TX. She was the daughter of Henry Evans and Edna Mae (Knox) Sammons. She passed on December 7, 2016 in Festus, MO at the age of 86 years. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Kay (Randy) Compton, Festus, MO; son, Jerry (Sharon) Davis, De Soto, MO; daughter-in-law, Kathy (Mike) Davis – Pepe, St. John’s, GA; grandchildren, Mark (Kim) Richardson, Amanda (Jason Rees) Grass, Ronika (Bruce) Boren, Bradley Davis, Joe Peck (Ryan) Davis, Sara (Steve) Floyd, Scott (Tasha) Davis, Jon (Mindy) Davis, Stacey (Craig) Block, and Todd (Jennifer) Melkus; and 19 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herman Gerald Davis; one son, Peck Davis; one daughter, Becky Kemper; one brother, Robert Sammons; one sister, Faye Allair; and two granddaughters, Jerrie Renee Davis and Elizabeth Davis.
