Doyle Thomas “Tom” Cain was born in St. Louis on May 21, 1945 a son to Doyle Edgar and Mary Jane (nee Ritch) Cain. He died November 15, 2015 at the John Cochran V. A. Medical Center at the age of 70. He is survived by four sons: Jason (Michelle) Cain, De Soto, Dustin (Lauren) Cain, Arnold, Andrew (Megan) Cain, Hillsboro, and Nick Cain, De Soto; seven grandchildren: Macie Cain, Carter Cain, Cameron Morgan, Emery Cain, Xander Ruessler, Gavin Cain, and Peyton Cain: and one sister: Lauralea (Ron) Rath, The Villages, FL. He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother: James Clifford Cain. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and after his retirement from General Electric he enjoyed spending time at his rural retreat in Hartshorn, MO. Deacon Ed Boyer of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church will officiate the memorial service. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
