Working with Dottie for so many years gave me the opportunity to get to know her very well. She treated each and every elderly individual with the same respect and love that she would her own parent. She loved the younger clients like they were her brothers, sisters and children. Dottie touched the lives of everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, in a very special and positive way. Everybody loved Dottie! And as one of residents once said in a plan meeting...Dottie was her favorite because she gave the best hugs! I am so blessed to have known her, and I will never forget her!

Dottie or Dot as we knew her was a bright spot in our memories of growing up. Dottie, like her mother, knew how to find the lighter side of life. She was someone we could count on to make us laugh no matter the situation. She will forever be fond memories as that special person that made the world a better place.

She is very loving and caring person. She was always smiling and very happy all of the time. She was always trying to take of everyone. She was my very best friend and also was like a mom to me. It was a honor to know her as a co worker as well as having her as my best friend and part of my family.

Dottie was the first person i met when i came to work at loving care. She greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome. Dottie trained me to be the Ma-1 i am today. She taught me a lot and i am very thankful for her. She was like a seconed mom to me. She was a wonderful lady and i was so blessed to have a chance to have her in my life. She loved her family so much, and there was never a dull moment with her. I can still hear her laugh. I am so dearly sorry for Dottie's familys loss, and her friends loss. Dottie i will miss you, I will never forget you! love, megan

It is with a very heavy heart that I send my condolences to Dot's family. Dot was my first cousin and the the last direct link to my mother Alta, who was Elsie's sister. I have many fond memories of visits to see Elsie and the girls when I was a young boy. Dot was always cheerful and made me feel important when I was young. I also enjoyed our visits after I was an adult and visited in DeSoto. I regret not seeing her more recently, but I know that Elsie, Gale, Dot, and my Mom are probably having a party in the heaven right now. Dot left the world a better place.
