August 2, 1916 - December 19, 2008
Dorothy Louise Politte was born August 2, 1916, in Freeburg, Illinois, a daughter to Charles and Minnie (nee Orth) Baisch. She died December 19, 2008, in Chesterfield, Missouri, having reached the age of 92 years 4 months and 17 days.
She and James H. (Jim) Politte were married July 3, 1939, in Ironton, Missouri, and to this union a daughter, Sharon, was born.
She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter, Sharon (husband Ron) Cole of Fenton, Missouri, two grandsons: Brent (wife Colleen) Cole of Arnold, Missouri and Bill (wife Nancy) Cole of O’Fallon, Missouri, and five grandchildren: Lauren, Jordan, Blake, Courtney and Aidan Cole, nieces, nephews and many friends.
In addition to her parents, and husband, Jim, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Rudolph, Clarence, Fred and Harold J. Baisch.
Dorothy was employed as a Teller at Charter Bank and worked in the banking industry for over 44 ½ years. She was a member of Hope United Church of Christ and throughout the years participated and worked in many Church activities.
