Mrs. Gerri was a inspiration to all who came in contact with her. She always had a sweet smile and kind word for everyone. I was honored to be a part of her care in her final days. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this sad time.

We my brother Bobby and I always went to see Aunt Gerri when we went home. She was always so happy to see us and always welcomed us with open arms. She was a very special lady. The last time I saw her she looked good and enjoyed living where she was. I took my grandsons to meet her. I asked her if she knew who I was, she said no I said it's Teeny Taylor. Well she was so happy she kept saying Teeny Taylor.I'm coming back in June and was going to take my granddaughter to meet her. She was a lady in every since of the word, and I will miss her. Phyllis, I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. She was such a sweet lady and I loved to sing to her at the Villa's. I will sure miss seeing her when I am at the Villa's. May God give you comfort and peace at this sad time in your life.
