Mrs. Rasmussen was my wonderful and loving 2 grade teacher at Hillsboro in 1986-1987. I had such a tough time with reading and she would push and push me until I was able to do it smoothly. I used to get so mad became later on understood and have forever been grateful for her constant encouragement, that I saw as pushing back then! I have often wondered about her and especially when reading a funny Calvin and Hobbs comic! May you all be held in love and prayer and given the peace that surpasses all understanding! I truly admire and was eternally thankful for this sweet woman!

Sincerest sympathy to Donna's family. I've known Donna since I was in grade school and then had the privilege of teaching with her at Pevely Elementary in the 70s. She was a special lady.

Donna was a wonderful teacher to two of my children. I helped in her classroom and we became friends. She had such a zest for life and it was contagious with her students. She taught my daughter a love of birds which she still has and she's 40 years old now. She will be missed by many.

Donna was a great lady, a good friend, and a fine teacher. I think of her every time I look at the shamrock she gave to me MANY years ago. Rest in Peace, my good friend.
