Donald Marion Wilson, Sr. was born December 4, 1931 in De Soto, MO. He was the son of Calvin and Ida Mae “Mamie” (nee Lorenz) Wilson.
He died on April 10, 2011 at his residence in Crystal City, MO at the age of 79 years 4 months 6 days.
He is survived by his wife, Leota A. (nee Vivrett) Wilson, Crystal City, MO; daughters, Deborah (Ric) Miller, Port St. Lucie, FL and Kim (Randy) Koogler, Festus, MO; one son, Don M. “Butch” (Jeanette) Wilson, Jr., Pevely, MO; grandchildren, Brandon (Katie) Miller, Joshua Miller, Jason Koogler, Jessie Koogler, Stephanie (Joseph) Rose, and Brian Wilson; great-grandchildren, Owen Miller, Dylan Miller, and Greg Rose.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Hugh Wilson and sister, Calvina Foote.
Mr. Wilson retired from PPG; served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War; and worked as a carpenter.
