Donald Knuckles was born July 26, 1926 in Eminence, MO. He was the son of Sterling Price and Florence Ethel (nee Sconce) Knuckles. He died on October 6, 2012 at Missouri Veterans Home in Mt. Vernon, MO at the age of 86 years. He is survived by his sons, Michael (Sharon) Knuckles, Arnold, MO and Joseph Knuckles, De Soto, MO; two grandchildren: Chris and Angie; siblings, Marvin (Doris) Knuckles, Poplar Bluff, MO, Genevieve (Roy) Clark, Farmington, MO, Virginia (Nolan) Sutton, St. Louis County, MO and George (Dotty) Knuckles, Buffalo, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wives, Beulah Knuckles and Dorothy Knuckles; his siblings, John, Ray, Walter, Milo, and Bob Knuckles, Pauline Black, Wilma Tucker, and Bernice Simpson.
A retired pipfitter, Mr. Knuckles was a member of Pipefitters Local 562, a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and a member of the First Church of God-De Soto.
