Donald G. Davis was born in De Soto on December 11, 1945 a son to Ora Buell “O.B.” and Alberta B. “Birdie” (nee Metts) Davis. He died at his Bonne Terre home on March 28, 2014 at the age of 68. He is survived by his sister: Dorothy Bequette, De Soto; his brother: Ora Theodore “Ted” (Marilyn) Davis, Bonne Terre; eleven nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Mary Tinker. He was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church and worked for many years as a ranch hand for Essex Angus Farms. Rev. Darlene Payne wil officiate all services. As an expression of sympathy memorials may be made to Serenity Hospice. Interment will be in the Oakland Baptist Cemetery-Mammoth.
