Dennis Wayne Johnson was born in De Soto on January 29, 1954 a son to Earl and Mora (nee Kelley) Johnson. He died at Missouri Baptist Hospital on May 31, 2020 at the age of 66. He is survived by his wife Marla (nee Merz) Johnson, De Soto; two children: Mike (Shaunna) Linton, De Soto and Rhonda Linton, Orlando, Fl; six grandchildren: Brittany, Kristen, Seth, Rhyannen, Emma, and Alehsyn; three great-grandchildren: Hunter, Willow, and Aleena; three sisters: Mae Nosser, Karen (Tony) Branson, and Betty Moorman; and two brothers: Donald (Tina) Johnson and David (Debra) Johnson. He is preceded in death by his parents; a sister Lorene White; a brother Vernon Johnson; and two brothers-in-law: Del Nosser and Harry White. Dennis was a truck driver for Taylor Crane and belonged to Teamsters Local #682.
