Delores always greeted everyone with a sweet smile and a cute chuckle. I enjoyed working with her at Jefferson College as well as continuing our friendship after retirement. Jimmy and Michael, you have wonderful memories of your Mother as well as your Father. May these memories give you comfort. God Bless, Pat

Delores and I spent some good times together as we car pooled to and from Jefferson College where we were both employed during the 80's. Delores was such a positive person and always fun to be with. It made our commutes so memorable. I spent my childhood in De Soto, and I remember Delores from those days as well.

Delores was my secretary at Jefferson College from about 1987 to 1990 when I relocated to Cape Girardeau and took a job with Southeast Missouri State University. Today, as I was going through my rolodex to find a phone number, I ran across my contact information for Delores. We had sent Christmas cards with updates about our families back and forth for years. But because of emails and lack of time, etc., I hadn't written to Delores for several years and had not heard from her. So I "googled" her to see if I could find out whether she was still in Desoto or in Largo so I could get in touch with her and I was stunned to find her obituary. I am shocked beyond words and I want you to know that I would have come for her services if only I had tried to find her just a few days earlier. Delores was a wonderful, wonderful woman who was there for me when I was going through some very difficult times in my life. She was so wise and we shared a love for both our children and our dogs. She will always have a place in my heart and please know that her family and friends are in my heart and in my prayers.
