David ,I remember you, Kevin Miller, and Jeff Donnell were like the 3 Musketeers. The only class we had at DeSoto Sr High was Chemistry. You and Jeff were Mr. P's lab assistants,. you gave everyone difficult solutions to precipitate out but gave yourself and Jeff your lab partner, only water as a LOL. My Prayers and and Thoughts are with you and your family; Nancy E. Mueller Class of 1975

Please accept my sympathy on Dave’s passing. Though I only worked with Dave for a little while, it was clear that he was very special. His brilliance and his patient, positive manner made him a joy to work with. I miss him but I know he’s in a better place. Christine Warner

David, Jeff Donnell and I were inseparable. When you saw one of us, you saw all three. The days we spent laughing and enjoying each other's company are etched in my memory forever. Game nights, fireworks, camping trips, a European tour, chemistry labs and good friends made life worth while. Even though David and I drifted apart as many do, our times together were priceless. I wish to express my deepest sympathy to David's family. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Kevin Miller, DeSoto High School Class of 1975

My deepest sympathy to Dave’s family. I had the good fortune of working with Dave for the past 3 years. Right from the beginning, I was struck by the positive energy that he brought to everything that he did. He was always ready to help. He was one of the sharpest and knowledgeable people that I have known. Dave was my go-to person on advice for planning my vacations! I know that I will miss you Dave, but I can always look back with a smile on the good times that we had. I have learnt a lot from you my friend! Arun

Our deepest condolences to all of Dave's family. Dave was a true friend, since the first meeting as college freshmen, one of a kind, a free spirit and will be missed. We are comforted, that by faith, he is with his Savior. Romans 14:8 For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s. Erik & Lynn Burgdorf

It was a great honor to work with Dave on a major database project over the last few years. He had a very rare combination of technical brilliance, a great attitude, and being wonderful to work with and be with. My deepest sympathy to his family and fellow friends.

With deepest sympathy for Dave’s loving family and many friends, I join in mourning his passing and in celebrating his life. I only recently began to know Dave when we started to work together a couple of years ago. Indeed, our first meeting was in his hospital room as he was recovering from surgery. Always cheerful, always helpful, I was immediately impressed by his insights, the breadth of his knowledge, his willingness to share and his passion for learning and for life itself. I loved the stories of his experiences and his ability to laugh and enjoy life even in the face of adversity. Rest assured, the memories of his smiling face, the sparkle in his eyes, his voice, his heart and more, shall be part of me always, and I will share these memories with others throughout my life. Hey Dave – I know you can hear me – I promise to drink my next beer in your honor, and laugh, heartily… with tears in my eyes. Yours, Eric Brenner

My deepest sympathy to all of Dave's family. As a fellow alumni of Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Psi - National Lutheran Fraternity I have nothing but good memories of the time I have know and been around Dave. Such a great personality and sense of humor who kept everyone on their toes. Will truly miss him! God's peace and blessing to all. 1 "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7
