Dana Marie Knight, age 70, of De Soto died January 28, 2021 at Mercy Hospital-South in St. Louis County. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church-De Soto, where she assisted with senior luncheons and dinners and loved attending Sunday School. Dana was born March 13, 1950 in Ironton, MO. She is the daughter of Junior E. Knight and the late Lillian Mae (Canter) Knight and the stepdaughter of the late Jeanne F. Bliss-Knight She lived at Sunny Hill Assisted Living Facility where she enjoyed activities and outings with her many friends. She was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Kansas City Chiefs, Missouri Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats. She was a loving daughter, loyal sister and awesome aunt to her three nieces. She had a quick wit and never missed an opportunity to joke around. She is survived by her father Junior E. Knight, De Soto; sister Doris (Knight) Hopper, Nashville, TN;  three nieces: Alessa (Steve) Brakman of Franklin, TN; Danyelle (Craig) Dowling of Franklin, TN; Mylinda (Josh) Vollet of Nashville, TN; six great nieces and nephews:  Mason Scott, Chase Brakman, Gray Brakman, Kayleigh Vollet, Kinsley Vollet and Zoe Dowling. She is also survived by stepsister and brothers: Rhonda (Dr. Lance) Allen, Stilwell, KS; Wayne (Becky) Bliss, Jr., De Soto, John “Buzz” (Cindy Laiben) Bliss, Imperial, MO.  As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to: Sunny Hill Independence Center, 14 Soccer Park Drive, Fenton, MO 63026.
