Dalton Lynn Roney was born on February 29, 1992 in St. Louis, MO. He was the son of Darren Roney and Melissa (Lawrence) nee Burr VanMeter. He went missing on February 1, 2018 in House Springs, MO. His date of death is November 2, 2020.
Dalton is survived by his father, mother and step-father, one son, Brayden Roney and his mother Katie Johnson; siblings, Mariah (Rickey) Woods, Makayla Roney, and Samantha VanMeter; grandparents, Kathleen (John Hought) VanMeter, Phil and Linda Humphries, Bob and Mary Roney, and Rita Penberthy; and two nieces, Willow and Meadow.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob Roney; and grandfather, Henry VanMeter.
Dalton had worked as a construction laborer and served in the United States Marine Corps.
Rev. Dan Pitchers will officiate the service.
