I have so many memories with my Uncle Clyde. The numerous vacations, and camping trips are just a few of my memories. Our trip to Vegas was wild. Him and Uncle David got drunk because they hate flying. But it was fun! Clyde rigged the thermostat so we had icicles hanging off of us. But he kept me out all night gambling and when we returned Uncle David had me go with him. Not much sleep on that trip. Another time, he wanted to take me on vacation, so off to the Ozarks we went. Little did we know that lightning hit his house and the refrigerator quit. What a mess! We stayed up and drank a bottle of Schnapps he had hidden from his dad, who couldn't figure out why he slept so late! Uncle Clyde didn't like monkeys! But that is a whole other story! On our trips I always stayed in the room with him and Linda. he felt comfortable with me there. I spent a lot of time with him on the golf cart. We won't tell Linda how many times we almost got stuck in the mud! When Uncle Clyde didn't feel like walking around when we were on trips, I stayed at the hotel with him a lot. We spent hours just talking over the years. He was the one to teach me how to fish, shoot a gun, smoke a pipe, and chew tobacco and spit! I have learned so much from him, and had so many awesome times with him! And no matter when, he always had a cup of coffee for me! I love this guy and will never ever forget him!
