Clyde and Gary Forshee let my brother Randy and I stay at their place in Columbia, Texas until we got on our feet and got our own place back in the early 80's. Because of him, we were able to find good jobs at Dow Chemical in Freeport Texas. He was always happy, it seemed, and would give you the shirt off his back. We were kind of wild back then, and sure have some stories to tell from that short time we lived and worked around them. I've thought about Clyde often in the decades since we lived in Texas. He was a big help, a good friend, and a joy to be around. May God bless his family and give them peace at this time of their loss. See ya on the big job, bud. You were and are a good man.

I've known Clyde for around twenty years. I used to work with Linda. For about ten years my wife and I had a cabin and small farm in DeSoto a few miles from where Clyde lived. Clyde was invaluable during our time on the farm. He was always willing to help, and his vast knowledge made our jobs on the farm so much easier. There were countless projects that I would not start without consulting Clyde first. He was dedicated to Linda and his children and just a likable guy. He once told me, " I can fix anything but a broken heart". Well that is what we need now because many are heartbroken because of his passing. He is already missed. He was a friend to many and I am proud to have been one of them.

I went to High School with Clyde. He was a very nice guy. My condolences to his friends and family.
