Claudia L. Rogers was born October 30, 1920 in Dublin, TX a daughter to Willie R. and Lillie M. (nee Shoemaker) Wilkins. She died at her De Soto home on October 2, 2013 at the age of 92. She is survived by one daughter: Pat (Ed) Haverstick, De Soto; three sons: Thomas (Shirley) Rogers, Jr., Prince George, VA; Jerry (Linda) Rogers, Springfield, MO, and Richard (Janice) Rogers, Arlington, TX; one brother: Bill (Shirley) Wilkins, Murchison, TX; sixteen grandchildren, forty one great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Thomas C. “T.C.” Rogers, Sr. and a daughter-in-law Lola Rogers. She worked as a dental assistant for Dr. M. P. McDonough, DDS and was a member of the First Baptist Church-De Soto and the Red Hat Society. The Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz will officiate the service with burial to follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, De Soto.
