Christopher C. Fernimen, Jr. was born May 6, 1925 in Sapulpa, OK. He was the son of Christopher C. Sr. and Effie (nee Jones) Fernimen. He died on July 19, 2013 at Jefferson Barracks V.A. Medical Center, St. Louis, MO at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his wife, Ruby H. (nee Hensley) Fernimen, Bonne Terre, MO; two daughters, Micaela Kristen-Kali, Iceland and Christi (Ed) Pope, De Soto, MO; grandchildren, Christopher Filkins, Paul (Jennifer) Filkins, Joseph (Andi) Escbacher, Eddie (Ana) Pope, Jr., Leslie (Joe) Mulvaney, and Jerry (Lisa) Pope; six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, John and Jack Fernimen; Mabel Sweaney; and Josephine Chance.
