Charles and Marge were our dear neighbors for over 30 years. My two daughters loved them like grandparents. Charles would always ask me "how are the boys doing"? He loved to tell stories about the days when he was a boy. We would have them over for dinner and you knew when he was really getting into the story because he would close his eyes and talk and talk until Marge told him shut up, she was ready to go home. He took more pride in his yard than anyone I have ever seen. They were both so proud of their son, Mark. Charles especially would love to tell where Mark was and what he was doing. Both Charles and Marge have left a hole in our hearts, I hope they are at peace!

When I would work late on Fridays with Charles he would always have the best stories about De Soto from his younger days. He told me all about Muellers when Slim owned it. How it was two stories tall and they didnt close a day to take the second story off the building. He always had something interesting to tell me about. I miss those stories and Charles.
