Charles “Pooney” Gibson was born May 19, 1949 in MO. He was the son of Charles and Kathryn (nee Sheldon) Gibson. He died on March 13, 2022 at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, MO at the age of 72 years. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and cousin to many in the Gibson and Sheldon families. His life passion was education. He was a popular and respected teacher, coach, principal and confidant to countless students along the way. Upon retirement he enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, traveling with his family and his annual “Poonfest” extravaganza with his lifelong buddies.
