Carolyn Sue Scott was born July 21, 1951 in Bonne Terre, MO. She was the daughter of Fred and Florence (nee Rawson) Mecey. She passed on February 5, 2021 at her residence in De Soto, MO at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband Karl Scott. Karl and Carolyn were married on April 18, 1970 at Park View Baptist Church. She is also survived by her mother; two daughters, Karla Miller, De Soto and Tracy (Rich) Hines of De Soto, MO; brothers, Alan (Pat) Mecey and Don Mecey; grandchildren, Tyler Hines, Emma Hines, and Wyatt Hines, Damien Miller, and Elley Miller. She is preceded in death by her father and a son-in-law Scott Miller. Carolyn was teller and secretary for Joachim Savings and Loan and was the office manager at Valle Lake. As an expression of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116.
