Carl Raymond Finch was born in Womack on April 15, 1931 a son to Harry L. and Ethel Alice (nee Hill) Finch. He died at his De Soto residence on October 13, 2013 at the age of 82. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ann l. (nee Reinholz) Finch of De Soto; his children: Carl (Sally) Finch Jr., St. Louis, Brenda (Keith) Ray, De Soto, Linda (George) Whatley, De Soto, David Finch, De Soto, Neal (Kathren) Finch, De Soto, Joseph (Darla) Finch, De Soto and Carrie Brooks, De Soto; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one brother: Herbert (Stella) Finch, Waterford, Michigan; and one sister-in-law: Mary Finch, Arnold. He is preceded in death by his parents; one brother: Tony Finch; and a grandson: Jimmy Lee Finch. He is a retired truck driver for Freight Express, member of Teamster’s Local 600 and a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church-De Soto. Bros Ron Duncan and Derek Jones will officiate the funeral service with burial to follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery.
