Ralph Joseph “Buster” Cage, Jr. was born February 7, 1951 in St. Petersburg, FL, a son to Dorothy Y. (nee Fulford) and Ralph J. Cage, Sr. He died on August 28, 2014 at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, MO at the age of 63 years. He is survived by his wife, Janet (nee Bradford) Cage, Hillsboro, MO; one son, Greg (Jennifer) Cage, Hillsboro, MO; two grandchildren, Mila Mae and Amber Lynn Cage; siblings, Janet Elling, Hillsboro, MO, and Sharon Cage, De Soto, MO; nieces and nephews, April (Jeff) Blackwell, Nathan (Jan) Elling, Matt Cage, Jim (Elissa) Bradford, Susie (Daniel) Moran, Teddy (Lettie) Bradford, Rosie (Bill) Foster, William Lindwedel, Joe (Christy) Brown, Taylor, Wyatt, and Jessie Huskey; brother and sister-in-laws, Jim (Charlene) Bradford, Charlotte (Dennis) Lindwedel, Linda Bradford, Laura (Les) Huskey, and father and mother-in-law, Ted “Buck” & Judy Bradford. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Dorothy Mae “Dottie” Cage; one nephew, Brian Lindwedel; and one brother-in-law, David Bradford. Buster was a retired mechanic for Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department and operated Bradford Water Hauling. He volunteered for the De Soto Historical Society and was a member of the AmVets Post #48.
